Edwin Blink - B-DOS

Granted

From the B-DOS Information file on disc:

The B-DOS code and B-DOS information are FREEWARE. This is a fully functional DOS and there are no silly restrictions whatsoever. Please pass it on to other SAM users.

Enjoy B-DOS.

Edwin Blink.

Not that I’m complaining,

Not that I’m complaining, but can you cite a reference for this please?

Done

Oh I see

Ah, you mean it’s on the disk itself. I didn’t spot that.

ok, nothing to see here, move along.

hi EB LCD AC thanks again!

https://skydrive.live.com/embedicon.aspx/.Public/retro%20x%20lcd%20bmp2scr/Bdos15a.dsk

theres a program called
roghdfvid
which is a basic program that should work if you can figure out how to unzip the hdf image which contains nearly 29mb of 24kb screen$ files in records 1 to 39 and has 32 screen$ files in each one
its not in machine code and i assume the basic isnt masterdos&masterbasic and certainly isnt sitting in the external 1mb of ram - if anyone could help write a machine code routine especially if it allowed for itnerlaced screen$ - be nice to be able to alter teh number of records and files in each record and screen$ modes to be used - it should manage speccy mode1 screen$ without fast disc access
lets hope someone figures how to wire up a DMA soon!
cant get bmp2scr to take a 512x384 file yet but will keep trying!
