Disk based magazine that claimed ‘every game reviewed ever’ at a time when some magazines were ignoring other companies releases. Included one disk each month containing games and another disk describing how they were developed and written. Most were written in SCADs. Jupiter Software were notable early contributors.

Phoenix Software Systems / David Ledbury

SAM Prime was launched by David Ledbury after the demise of the SAM Newsdisk which David edited with Alan Miles.

It was intended to be in a similar vein to the Newsdisk, and managed to gain content from several Newsdisk authors - including Adrian Parker and Dr Andy Wright. One of the intentions was to work with Bruce Gordon who’s company SAMTek was still trading, to keep support going. This sadly did not happen.

SAM Prime was a disk based magazine for the first 5 issues, although the last 2 issues appeared on Paper.
